Sulphur & Spirit was born out of the collaborative effort of the 2023-2024 cohort of Alchemy 101. This first volume brings together some of the poetry, prose, and art created during our 6-month long journey of a semester through collective self-actualization.
THE TEAM
Angie Wehking is a writer whose work explores themes of transformation, balance, and self-discovery. Her writing often draws from astro-mythological influences, inviting readers to delve into the nuances of the human experience.
Alice Miller is based in Dublin, Ireland. Among other things, she has been a manager, software engineer, chemist, lecturer, bioinformatician, barista, film operator, security guard, and professional knitter. She was only briefly raised by wolves.
Elianne El-Amyouni is a writer, teacher, tarot reader, and content creator. She writes columns in Arabic, makes videos in English, and spends most of her day listening to music and lounging around in sunny corners of the house in her feline form.
Avra Kehdabra is a resonant physician / energy medicine woman, artist, lover of peoples (especially the unlovable), and sometimes funny person. She’s just trying to remember all of the yesterdays and some of the tomorrows, then burning all of those memories in a tiny cauldron.
Elias Warren is a body alchemist who is continuously transforming his own life and those of others through the use of the body. He is constantly curious about something new.
Krzysztof Bujalski notoriously takes on too many tasks, says they have too much on their plate, and notoriously does not want to give up on any. Of late, these include starting 2 YouTube channels, at the same time already having a third one, painting miniatures and canvases, creating instrumental, post-rock music based on emotions, and writing their first comic book. On top of their 9-5 as an IT guy. They wish they could transform anxiety into more time throughout the day.
