The essays, art, poems, and prose contained in sulfur and spirit are the result of the the Alchemy 101 and 102 courses taught by Elianne El-Amyouni. The alchemical deep dive into the history, spirituality, mysticism, and emotionality of ourselves and our shared experiences.

The alchemy courses take place over a period of 6-9 months. students explore themes of religion and spirituality (and everything that comes with those topics), personal transformation, shadow work, cultural connections, and more.

Creation is the natural result of such intense personal work. the sulfur and spirit anthologies are the intimate exploration of the personal work that these individuals have done.
